Libelium Lab starts in a new workspace in Murcia

At Libelium, we are celebrating a new start. Part of the Murcia team is moving to a new office to continue designing and developing solutions that promote the sustainability of companies and cities.

In addition to Ceutí, where our gas sensor calibration laboratory remains, we are on the 18th floor of Urban Center in Murcia. As our CEO, Alicia Asín Pérez, said, this elevated place is not to smugly look at how high we are but to “take our gaze further.”

From this new location, our Libelium Lab team will continue creating magic with digital twins, data space, and artificial intelligence projects. Murcian talent has no limits!

The 430 square meters of the new offices provide us with more space for internal meetings and business visits, as well as spectacular panoramic views of the city of Murcia, its orchard and the mountains, including the cathedral tower and Monteagudo castle.

At the inauguration, we were accompanied by friendly companies and city councils with whom we have already worked on projects and with whom we will continue developing solutions to help cities and companies become more sustainable.

Our CEO, Alicia Asín, says it best: “The opening of our new offices in Murcia is a clear sign of our commitment to innovation and the well-being of our team in the region. These larger and more modern spaces will allow us to continue expanding our capabilities at Libelium Lab and for our valuable human team.”

Our CSO, Antonio J. Jara, adds with satisfaction: “For me, it is a pride to contribute to the transformation of Murcia as a hub of innovation. Here in Murcia, where I have developed a large part of my career, we are showing the world the talent and potential that our region can offer in the field of the most advanced technology.”

We have several incredible projects in the Region, such as the Cartagena Low Emissions Zone, the measurement of water quality in La Manga del Mar Menor in collaboration with the UCAM, and the critical water infrastructure cybersecurity project with INCIBE in the Segura hydrographic basin.
