Libelium obtains the RCM & RSM Certification for Australia and New Zealand for NB-IoT / CATM1 connectivity

Libelium reinforces its commitment to the certification of its technology in response to the growing demand for increasingly professional solutions from the IoT project market.

In this context, Libelium is proud to announce that the product family Plug & Sense! NB-IoT / Cat M1 has obtained the RCM and RSM certifications for Australia and New Zealand.This qualification is the result of a joint effort by Libelium and M2M Connectivity and Adroit, partner distributors in these geographies.

Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) is a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) radio technology standard. It is designed specifically for IoT projects because provides better connectivity with less energy consumption.

NB-IoT / Cat M1 is becoming one of the most demanded connectivity for IoT projects in Asia and Oceania. Consequently, Libelium designed this product line with the module Quectel BG96, that features global coverage and the most important certifications (CE, FCC, KC, TELEC, and 9 others). It is also compatible with three types of networks: NB-IoT, LTE-Cat-M, GPRS and has GPS.

This certification is a great advance for Libelium moving steps forward to be positioned as a key player to supply high quality and professional IoT solutions to target the most challenging projects.
